Meeting Notes
On November 1, project leaders attended the "Healthy Lifetime Calculation Workshop" at the National Health Research Institute. Associate Researcher Ji-tsun Chiu introduced the SPACE software, designed for multi-state model analysis and health life calculations. The software aids in public health policy through longitudinal data analysis.
Chiu explained how SPACE supports health trend predictions and resource allocation, particularly for aging populations and chronic diseases. Participants used the software in hands-on exercises to deepen their understanding of health state transitions.
The workshop concluded with a discussion on SPACE’s potential in other health applications, providing valuable tools and fostering future cross-disciplinary collaboration.
